While alpaca is an incredible material – softer than cashmere, warmer than wool, and naturally moisture-wicking – it’s not built to do everything on its own.
Alpaca lacks the stretch and durability needed for everyday wear. That’s why we blend it with nylon for strength and shape retention, and spandex for just the right amount of stretch. The result is a sock that stays soft, fits well, and lasts longer – without compromising on comfort.

Who owns DREVOA & where are the socks made?
DREVOA was founded by a young entrepreneur from united states, inspired by two alpacas he met on a run near Dunedin — Olive and Jet. Their fleece sparked the idea for a brand built on the unmatched qualities of alpaca fibre: softer than cashmere, warmer than wool, and naturally sustainable. We started with socks — the simplest way to bring this incredible fibre into everyday life — but this is just the beginning. Where is your alpaca wool sourced?
Our alpaca wool is ethically sourced from South America, where alpacas roam freely across the highlands much like sheep do in New Zealand. This region is home to the most mature and established alpaca wool industry in the world. Alpacas are shorn just once a year, typically in spring — a completely humane process that is essential for their wellbeing, helping them avoid overheating in warmer months. The wool is then carefully cleaned, spun, and crafted into our premium socks. Unlike synthetic fibers, alpaca wool is a natural and sustainable material that offers outstanding warmth, breathability, and comfort.
